Les Orres Resorts

With a magnificent view of the Embrun and the valley of the Durance, the Orres resort offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Serre-Ponçon, one of the largest artificial lakes in Europe.

Thanks to its high altitude and its exposure to the north, the resort benefits from excellent snowfall together with all the brightness of an already Mediterranean climate.
The 35 marked runs (3 black, 21 red, 4 blue and 7 green), laid out on the mountain meadows or through a vast forest of larches and unspoilt open areas, with a total length of 90 km, drop over a total height of 1,170 metres from 2720 down to 1550 metres. They benefit from 21 mechanical lifts, with 3 high-speed detachable grip chair lifts, 5 fixed grip chair lifts and 13 ski tows.
The black run of La Pousterle (with a 900 drop over a total length of 3,600 metres) is one of the 3 runs in France approved by the International Ski Federation for downhill skiing. It plays host every year in January to the European Cup for downhill racing. The resort is equipped with snow guns covering 70% of the total area.
In addition to skiing, the resort offers a very wide range of other fun-filled or sporting nature-related activities for you to discover the mountain differently: excursions on foot or on snow-shoes, paragliding, snowmobiling, biathlon, ice falls, skijoring and riding, sledging with sledge dogs, etc.

Les orres

In addition to skiing, the Orres resort caters to seminars and multimedia facilities and has invested substantially in the sector.

Just imagine: :

  • A Conference Centre to be envied by many of France's largest ski resorts. This magnificent facility was inaugurated in 2008 and is the ideal location to host shows, concerts, seminars, incentive trips and other conferences. It offers seating for 500 people and can be divided into 5 rooms for 10 to 180 people using removable partitions.

  • A 1,000 m² Multimedia Centre with a cybercafe, an area for training and initiation in new technologies as well as a network gaming area. Moreover, Les Orres is the only resort in France to offer free Wifi, with more than 50 terminals providing the municipality with high speed Internet. This way you can surf the Internet when you're not "surfing" down the slopes.

  • A 700 m² covered skating rink with a tea room and solarium patio.

The Orres resort is also a paradise for families and young children! Bois Mean is therefore able to fully meet the expectations of parents on holidays with young children:
A day care centre for children aged 6 months to 5 years equipped with an outdoor playground, a snow park for 3 to 6 year-olds and the Juni’Orres club for 6 to 12 year-olds.
