The Residence4**** La Combe d’Or is situated in the upper part of Bois Méan at an
altitude of 1800 metres. Located at the edge of a ski slope, it provides direct access to
the foot of the ski slopes and to the 4-seater ski-lift of Préclaux.
The following facilities are within the immediate vicinity of the Residence: 2 restaurants,
1 snack-bar, 3 ski-rental shops and 1 supermarket including a bakery, a newsagent and
shop selling local products.
The day-care centre of La Farandole (outdoor playground with moving pavement for
initiation in skiing) takes children aged from 6 months to 6 years on a half-day or full-day
basis.
The 2 ski schools (International Ski School and French Ski School) each have an office
next door to the Tourist Office.
The Residence of La Combe d’Or, equipped with WiFi (at extra charge), is one of the finest tourist
residences in the French Alps.
Its apartments have been fitted with top quality equipment and have been tastefully and
luxuriously decorated. The sports facilities of the Residence match all the requirements
of a 4-star establishment: sauna, hammam, outdoor heated swimming pool with
covered access for winter, a solarium and a vast reception room with fireplace.
Finally, all the apartments are equipped with a flat-screen LCD television with reception
of all the French channels plus a further selection for a total of some 15 channels, the
cost being included in the price of the apartment.
