Two Residences 3*** Les Mélèzes d’Or and 3***Les Monts du Bois d’Or are
situated in the new resort of Bois Méan at Les Orres at an altitude of 1800 metres.
The adjoining residences, built at the foot of the ski slopes opposite of the 4-seater
ski-lift station of Préclaux, provide direct access to all the ski slopes of Les Orres.
The following facilities are within the immediate vicinity of the 3 Residences:
- 2
restaurants,
- 1 snack-bar,
- 3 ski-rental shops
- and 1 supermarket including a bakery, a
newsagent and shop selling local products.
The day-care centre of La Farandole (outdoor playground with moving pavement for
initiation in skiing) takes children aged from 6 months to 6 years on a half-day or fullday
basis.
The 2 ski schools (International Ski School and French Ski School) each have an
office next door to the Tourist Office.
The 3*** Residences of Les Mélèzes d’Or and Les Monts du Bois d’Or are equipped
with the following facilities to meet the expectations of the most demanding clientele:
4 saunas and 1 outdoor, heated swimming pool, with covered access for winter
(facilities shared by the 2 Residences).
All these services are included in the rental, including the sauna (according to
certain times during the day).
Finally, all the apartments are equipped with a flat-screen LCD television (extra) with
reception of all the French channels plus a further selection for a total of some 15
channels.
